Tryggvi Felixson is a senior adviser at the Nordic Council in Copenhagen.
Tryggvi Felixson is from Iceland. He is a resource economist educated in Norway and the USA. He has worked for the Icelandic Government in the Central Bank of Iceland, Ministry of Finance and the Ministry for the Environment. He has also served as the managing director for an environmental NGO in Iceland for some six years.
Tryggvi worked for the Nordic Council of Ministers as an advisor for finance and economy from 1991 to 1995. Before joining the Nordic Council in 2010, he served as Head of the Department for Environment and Resources at the Nordic Council of Ministers for some 4 years.
